Know what happens before you choose a file.
Are my files uploaded?
FLUX does not send selected files to its own conversion server. Processing happens in your browser. Some formats may require technical libraries to be loaded over HTTPS.
Do I need an account?
No. Every converter works as a guest. An optional account stores preferences and history; syncing between devices requires the configured Supabase connection.
Why can very large files fail?
Browsers and mobile devices have limited memory. Depending on your device, large videos, PDFs and archives can reach practical limits.
Is FLUX Convert free?
Yes. The tools are free. Clearly labelled advertising may help fund operating costs in the future.
Your files stay yours.
FLUX processes content with browser technologies including WebAssembly, Canvas and JavaScript modules. Selected files are not transferred to a FLUX conversion server. For some formats, your browser loads fixed-version processing modules over HTTPS when first used.
